Report: Novitec Rosso’s Performance decks out Ferrari 458 Italia Spyder

Novitech Rosso, a tuning house out of Germany, recently modified the already amazing Ferrari 458 Italia Spyder, giving it both more power (definitely not out of necessity) and some head turning visual upgrades.

Out of the factory, the supercar’s 4.5-liter V8 makes 570hp, and gets from 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 200 mph. Novitech Rossso took kicked up the power with a custom exhaust that shaves 46 lbs off the weight of the 458 Italia Spyder, a software enhancement, and a carbon-fiber air box.

The final output on the tuned model is 601hp and 420 lb-ft of torque, and a reported 2 mph gain on the original top speed.

Novitech Rosso tuned the suspension with a hydrolic system that gives 40 millimeters in height when needed, added new sport springs that drop the model overall by 35mm and new sway bars.

A set of 21-inch wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero rubber sized at 255/30 ZR 21 stick the Ferrari to the pavement up front, with 22-inch wheels in the rear surrounded by 335/25 ZR 22 sized tires in the rear.

On the inside, Novitech Rosso has given the interior of the 458 Italia Spyder custom leather fabric and carbon fiber trim.

Exterior modifications include updated trim on the mirror caps and front air inlets, a two-piece front spoiler and side flaps and a boot lid wing and rear diffuser. All of the new parts are made of carbon fiber, which surrounds the blacked out taillights as well.
