EPA rates 2013 Porsche Boxster at 32 mpg on the highway

The EPA has announced the official fuel-economy figures for the new 2013 Porsche Boxster (Boxster S figures still pending).

The 2013 Porsche Boxster is powered by a 2.7 liter 6-cylinder engine making 265-hp and 206 lb-ft of torque. The EPA rates the car at 22/32 mpg (city/highway) and 26 mpg combined when mated to 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. When mated to a 6-speed manual the figures drop to 20/30 mpg or 24 combined.

If you want the higher mpg with a 7-speed PDK, get ready to pay $3,200 on the base price of $49,500.
