It’s somewhat of an awkward comparison but it’s also somewhat justified as well. Motor Trend decided take the new 2013 Subaru BRZ and put it up against its closest American rival – the 2013 Ford Mustang V6.

Refresher: The 2013 Subaru BRZ is powered by a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder boxer engine making 200-hp at 7,000 rpm with a maximum torque of 151 lb-ft at 6,600 rpm. The engine is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. Prices start at $25,495.
