Report: Nissan Juke-R will be offered for $590,000 in the United States

Nissan confirmed yesterday that after a very positive reaction to the concept, it will put the Juke-R into a very limited production run. Each Nissan Juke-R will be built upon request… meaning you can expect the price tag to be extremely high. How high you ask?

“We will make Juke-R available to customers anywhere in the world on a build-to-order basis,” said Nissan Americas Vice President David P. Reuter in an interview with Inside Line. “It is intended for serious collectors and investors who want to own a true original, an innovative project that will only be created in extremely small numbers.”

Reuter said that pricing will come in around $590,000. That’s equivalent to the pricing of 6 Nissan GT-R models and then some.

Nissan also confirmed that the production model will get its drivetrain and chassis from the 2012 GT-R, unlike the concept, which is based on the 2012 GT-R.
