BMW 1-Series M-Coupe under goes surgery from Tuningwerk
Tuningwerk, a company that specializes in BMW programs, has grabbed its air guns and went to work on the 1-Series, resulting in what it calls the BMW 1st M RS.
The German tuner has the new 1st M RS sitting on a set of 19-inch wheels, wrapped in Dunlop blow-up Sport Maxx rubber. A second ATS wheel option is available, as well. Stopping power is provided by a steel braking system, featuring carbon ceramic discs.
Power and performance has been heavily upgraded, with a modified cooling system, second oil cooler, titanic exhaust system, and a clutch optimized for stability that can be adjusted. Horsepower has been boosted up to 521 hp and roughly 452 lb-ft of torque with a top speed of around 186 mph.
Pricing for the extensive upgrade of the BMW 1st M RS comes in at $156,000. WOW.
