While the more apparent inspiration for ‘The Avengers’ version of the Acura roadster is the NSX Concept that was revealed this year, Edmunds compiled a pair of videos that show a close resemblance to something else.

The first generation Acura NSX coupe is the true muse of this new edition, from power to interior – at least for the movie. Both the interior, and mid mounted V6 are the same as the original NSX.
