Volkswagen Beetle Convertible to debut at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show
Unfortunately the next-generation Volkswagen Beetle Convertible never made its debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show. According to company sources, the model will make its public debut at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show later this month in China.
Why did V-Dub pick China to launch the new Beetle drop-top? We’re not really sure.

The Volkswagen Beetle Convertible will be joined by the E-Bugster Concept that was shown in Detroit and the new Cross Coupe Concept.
On a side note, we have a 2012 Volkswagen Beetle in our press fleet right now and more guys have inquired about the car than girls – pretty interesting. Either way, look out for the review coming very soon.
