Report: Lexus LFA II in the works with more power, will cost close to $1 million

The Lexus LFA was Japan’s first exclusive supercar. Pumping out 552-hp from a massive 4.8 liter V10, the Lexus LFA can run from 0 to 62 mph in 3.7 seconds with a top speed of 202 mph. So how is Lexus going to top the current LFA?

According to sources, the successor to the LFA is already in the works and will be even faster and more expensive. More expensive than the current $375,000 LFA? Indeed – much more expensive.

Well-connected sources say that the LFA II will be twice the car with a significantly higher performance level. To match the upgraded performance, the price tag of the new LFA will be bumped up into the range of $800,000 to $1 million.

Instead of producing 500 units, Lexus will produce just 100 exclusive units. Will they all find a home? We’ll find out soon enough.
