Report: Ford F-150 SVT Raptor sales up 35 percent through March
The Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is by no means a mainstream volume selling picking but the model is selling really well this year.
Through March, Ford F-150 SVT Raptor sales are up 35 percent compared to the first three months of 2011. That means Ford should be able to sell 15,000 units of the Raptor by the end of 2012, much ahead of its original estimates.
The Ford Dearborn Truck plant that produces the model takes about three hours to produce one unit. No word on whether Ford will boost output to four units per hour.
