Video: 2014 BMW M3 prototype hits up the Nurburgring for a shakedown
BMW’s M department is currently hard at work on the next-genertion M3 and recently hit up the Nurburgring to give one of the first prototypes a nice high-speed shakedown.

From what learned earlier this week, the 2014 BMW M3 will drop its V8 for a 3.0 liter V6 with two twin-scroll turbo chargers making 429-hp and a peak torque of 405 lb-ft. We’re not sure if that’s a good idea, but we are praying that M is working hard to make power delivery instantaneous.
