2012 New York: 2013 Subaru XV Crosstreck comes to the stateside

Subaru has just released its all-new 2013 XV Crosstreck crossover today at the New York Auto Show.

This surprisingly attractive new model gets power from a 2.0-liter Boxer engine that puts out a modest 148-hp, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission with an available second-generation Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission (automatic), putting power to all four wheels.

Two trim lines, Premium and Limited, will be available for the 2013 XV Crosstreck. The Premium model features a multi-function display with fuel economy information, security system with engine immobilizer and iPod connectivity, among other usual suspects. The Limited version folds in leather-trimmed upholstery, automatic climate control, a rear-vision camera, a 4.3-inch display and automatic headlights to its additions.

Pricing will be released closer to the models fall release.
