Video: Tiff Needell puts the 2013 Nissan GT-R up against the 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S
We’re not sure what Tiff Needell is doing on EVO Magazine but the Fifth Gear host recently put together a video for the publication showing a track battle between the Nissan GT-R and the Porsche 911 Carrera S. If you’re familiar with the way Needell drives, then you definitely don’t want to miss this one.

- Porsche 911 Carrera S: The 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S is powered by a 3.8 liter boxer making 400-hp. Mated to a Porsche’s PDK 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the 911 Carrera S goes from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds and 3.9 seconds with the Launch Control function of the optional Sport Chrono Package. Top speed for the 911 Carrera S comes in at 188 mph.
- Nissan GT-R: The 2013 Nissan GT-R being the most powerful, is powered by a 3.8-liter twin turbo V6 engine making 545-hp, an increase of 15-hp over the 2012 GT-R, and torque has been increased from 448 lb-ft to 463 lb-ft. 0 to 62 mph for the 2013 GT-R has been reported to come in at 2.84 seconds.
