Video: Ferrari 599XX Evoluzione makes its track debut at Suzuka

The Corse Clienti is a division of Ferrari that handles the exclusive XX and F1 development program, among other racing endeavors. The XX program allows Ferrari road car drivers the opportunity to step into the world of Ferrari racing by test driving new technology being developed for production models.

In 2005 the first of the XX models, the FXX started the project, followed by the 599XX in 2009. Since then, Maranello’s team has developed a kit, creating the 599XX Evoluzione, which added a large rear wing, 30-hp, a bigger front splitter, and two years to tear up the track with it.

While the 599XX debuted in December at the Bologna Motor Show, owners and their models hit the track for the first time just recently in Japan at the Suzuka circuit. This is also the first time an upgraded model has been out in public.
