2013 Scion FR-S price starts at $24,930

According to a document sent to dealers, pricing for the 2013 Scion FR-S will officially start at $24,930. Even with destination and handling, pricing for the FR-S will come right under $25,000.

That starting price-tag includes the rear-wheel-drive FR-S with a 2.0 liter 2.0 liter naturally-aspirated 4-cylinder horizontally opposed engine with Toyota’s D-4S injection system – with a 6-speed manual. Output comes in at 200-hp at 7,000 rpm with a maximum torque of 151 lb-ft at 6,600 rpm.

There is an optional 6-speed automatic with sporty rev-matched down shifts with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters.

Using premium gasoline, the Scion FR-S averages 25/34 mpg (city/highway) and 28 mpg combined.

    24k+ 4 a mini pony car ok, it is what it is, plus premium gasoline, really, what r they thinking
