Mansory Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG pumps out 631-hp, looks awkward doing it
Saving the visuals for later, the power mods Mansory added is really the standout factor for this kit. The CLS63 AMG comes standard with a handcrafted 5.5-liter twin turbo V8 motor, which produces 557 hp and 590 lb-ft. With the addition of an air filter and a upgraded ECU, the tuner version puts out 631 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque with the optional AMG sport package.
Sticking it to the pavement is a set of tires sized 256/30ZR20 up front and 305/25ZR20 at the rear, wrapping a set of 20-inch wheels.
Mansory was not shy with the carbon fiber treatment both outside and in. The exterior of the CLS63 AMG is fitted with a front and rear wing, rear diffuser and side sills.
Inside, the carbon fiber was extended to the dash, steering wheel, doors and center stack. In addition, black leather covers the dash and seating with contrast stitching.
Overall, it seems the power tune was worth the effort but the visual upgrades, particularly on the front, are overbearing and unattractive. The lines of the kit were spoiled by the overuse of carbon fiber.
