Bugatti Veyron Gran Sport Vitesse specs released, top speed comes in at 254 mph

Following the official public unveiling of the the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the company has released the official specification of its fast drop-top.

According to the spec sheet, power comes from a 16-cylinder engine that produced 1,184-hp with a maximum torque of 1,106 lb-ft. The engine transfers that power to all-four-wheels through a 7-speed DSG transmission. 0 to 62 mph comes in just 2.6 seconds with 0 to 125 mph coming in 7.1 seconds. Top speed comes in at an eye-wattering 254 mph.

The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse also features three modes of suspension settings including Standard, Handling and Top Speed. Top Speed is the setting selected for driving at speeds of over 233 mph.
