2012 Geneva: GTA Spano is probably the best supercar to debut in Geneva… besides the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta

Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show is the first supercar out of Spain, already set for production, called the GTA Spano.

GTA spent five years working on the model, and the end result is a mighty one, boasting 90 horsepower over the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. An 8.3-liter V10 powers the Spano producing 820-hp and 708 lb-ft of torque, all kicked to the rear-wheels by either a manual or seven-speed automatic transmission. All that power makes a 0-62mph of an awesome 2.9 seconds, with speeds topping out at 217mph.

Visual highlights for the Spano include a glass roof, winged rear view mirrors, and a set of wheels sized 19-inches up front and 20-inches in the rear. Inside, GTA added Recaro seats, an LCD instrument panel display, a rear camera projection that replaces the rear-view mirror, and LED lighting technology.

Just 99 of these superquick and highly attractive models will be made to order. Price tags are still pending.
