2012 Geneva: AC Schnitzer gives BMW M5 560-hp, calls it ACS5
AC Schnitzer is bringing several models to the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, among them is the ACS5 Sport Saloon, based on the BMW M5.
The model’s exterior gets a sporty treament with a chrome front grille, roof spoiler, carbon rear diffuser, boot lid spoiler, and large branding on the profile with graphics (fortunately, these are an option).
Inside, the tunning house offers up several trims to chose from, although the subtle, yet colorful blue trim is quite attractive. Custom floor mats and aluminum pedals are also available.
Power gets a nice boost with an ECU tune and custom exhaust that squeezes out 612 hp from the 4.4-liter bi-turbo, compared to the stock output of 560hp. Torque is also increased from 502 lb-ft up to 582 lb-ft. A top speed of 190mph is acheived from the power upgrade and by doing away with the limiter.
