2012 Geneva: 2013 Audi A1 quattro hasn’t slept for days, has red eyes

Like us, the Audi A1 quattro seems to have been pulling all-nighters in keeping up-to-date for the 2012 Geneva Motor Show – hence the red eyes. The model is on display today here at the show and has a its own dedicated space.

Reresher: Power for the Audi A1 quattro comes from a 2.0 TFSI 4-cylinder direct-injected gasoline engine making 256-hp at 6,000 rpm with a maximum torque of 258 lb-ft between 2,500 and 4,500 rpm. Mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, 0 to 62 mph comes in just 5.7 seconds with a top speed of 152 mph. Audi said that every detail of the 4-cylinder engine has been optimized for high performance and low fuel consumption. Fuel-economy comes in at 27.67 mpg. Only 333 units will be built.
