Starting this summer those living in the UK and other European markets will be able to get behind the compact Toyota Yaris Hybrid. Of course, it won’t be coming to the United States (at least anytime soon) and that’s probably because Toyota doesn’t want to jeopardize sales of the new Prius C.
Power for the Yaris Hybrid is shared with the Prius C’s 1.5-liter Atkinson-cycle gasoline engine and electric transaxle, motor, battery back and inverter, which combined puts out 98hp.
Prices will be announced closer to launch.
