2012 Geneva: 2013 Porsche Boxster drops its top Swiss-style
The Porsche Boxster has finally received its first major redesign since 2004 and it’s looking like quite a crowd pleaser.
The base 2013 Porsche Boxster will get the company’s first 2.7 liter 6-cylinder engine making 265-hp, while the Boxster S will get an updated 315-hp 3.5 liter. Both models are offered with a 6-speed manual or Porsche 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. The 2013 Boxtser goes from 0 to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds and the Boxster S takes 4.7 seconds.
Sales of the 2013 Porsche Boxster lineup will start in United States later this summer. Prices start at $49,500 for the standard Boxster and $60,900 for the Boxster S.
