Following Chevy, Chrysler’s Ram takes a shot at Ford F-150 in new commercial
During the Super Bowl XLVI game, Chevrolet ran a commercial for the Silverado where it took a cheap shot at the Ford F-150. The commercial showed drivers of the Chevrolet Silverado meeting up after an apocalypse and discussing the loss of their friend Dave who drove a Ford F-150.
Even before the spot aired, Ford had asked Chevy to stop the ad from airing – of course, Chevrolet never complied.
Now it seems the Chrysler’s Ram brand is jumping in on the action with a new commercial called ‘Work Harder.’
The commercial shows a 2012 Ram 1500 and asks what would happen if you take away 30-hp, remove 27 lb-ft of torque and subtract 40,000 miles off of its limited power train warranty. Following all those questions a voiceover states – Well, you’d end up with a Ford F-150.
What does Ford have to say about the commercial? Nothing as of yet.
Check out the Ram commercial after the jump.
