Lyonheart K pays tribute to Jaguar E-Type with 542-hp
The Jaguar E-Type is one of the most legendary and most beautiful vehicles ever to be built – and it really doesn’t matter if you like to agree or disagree, the car still sends a sense of attraction when you look at it.
Now celebrating its 50th anniversary, a Swiss design company by the name of Classic Factory is paint homage to the model with a modern interpretation and a custom designed limited series model called the Lyonheart K.In order to meet customer demand, decision was taken to build a limited series.
“We want to make the ‘Made In England’ label into a truthful concept, not just a statement,” said Robert Palm, CEO of Classic Factory. “Every part of the Lyonheart K is developed, engineered and hand-built in England. The design clues of the Lyonheart K reflect Britishness at its best: cool, elegant, refined, understated yet powerful and dynamic.”
The Lyonheart K is powered by a supercharged V8 engine 542-hp with maximum torque of 501 lb-ft. With weight staying under 3,520 pounds, the Lyonheart K is capable of hitting 62 mph from standstill in under 4 seconds with a top speed of 186 mph.
Pricing? 495,000 euros – and that’s without taxes. Classic Factor says it will take about 18 months before it reaches your driveway.
