2013 Peugeot 4008 crossover fully revealed, will go on sale outside Europe

Following the release of the 208 XY and 208 GTi concepts, Peugeot dropped photos of the 4008, with exterior shots, and interior images that have not been previewed before.

The 4008 is based on the U.S.’s Mitsubishi Outlander Sport platform, and is 170.9 inches in length, and 64.2 inches tall.

Four options for power are available for the new crossover, which include two petrol motors, a 1.6-liter that makes 115hp mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, a 2.0-liter putting out 150hp with the added CVT transmission option. This 1.6-liter is the only power option not available with an all-wheel drive option.

Two diesel options are included as well, starting with a 1.6-liter HDi pushing 115hp that is coupled with a six-speed manual gearbox, and a 1.8-liter HDi that makes 150hp, also mated to a six-speed manual.

Over 50 countries will be getting the Peugeot 4008, with the first release in Russia and the Ukraine, with New Zealand, Australia, China, Europe, and other locations to follow.
