G-POWER tunes 2012 BMW M5 to 640-hp

The 2012 M5 that has recently been released has a fresh tuning kit from G-Power.

G-Power tuned the suspension with its “GM5-RS” suspension, featuring adjustable height coil-overs and nine different bound and rebound settings. An upgraded breaking system, 21-inch alloy wheels, and a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, sized 265/30 ZR 21 up front and 305/25 ZR 21 in the back, have also been added.

Check out more news on the BMW M5.

BMW’s stock twin turbo 4.4-liter V8 has been tuned up from 560hp at 502 lb-ft of torque to 640hp and 573 lb-ft of torque with a remapped ECU and a custom exhaust. This cuts down the M5’s 0-62mph time from 4.4 seconds to 3.9 seconds, and allows the model to hit 124mph in 11.9 seconds.

Keep an eye out for the next G-Power M5 Hurricane RR generation. After the neck-snapping 800hp tune for the last one, expect the next to be equally amazing.
