After a hiatus from U.S. markets, Alfa Romeo has announced that its return will hit in 2014 at the Detroit Auto Show with the debut of the production version of the 4C.
Previews for the mid-engined 4C won’t be released until late next year, and after the U.S. relaunch, Alfa has its sights set on hitting the pavement in China, after a well received presence at last year’s Guahgzhou motor show.

Fiat has released that there will be no manual transmission on the 4C, only a dual-clutch automatic, which is expected to be a modified version of the Giulietta TCT’s.
Power for the 4C will come from the automakers 1750 turbo petrol motor, modified to 230 hp, and reaching torque over the current version’s 236 lb-ft.
