Huet Brothers working on the idea of a perfect retro sports car

Huet Brothers is currently working on a project that aims to produce its idea of a perfect sports car, one that takes both the road and the track into account.

The concept is to create a sports coupe that can handle varying weather conditions but still impress on the track, be serviced at any garage but can still be tuned, and lightweight but still safe in traffic jam. Technology, space and comfort are heavy weighing factors in the design as well.

So far, HB has a full carbon body that houses two power options: a 3.0-liter 6 cylinder petrol that makes 306 hp, and a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder diesel that puts out 204 hp. The diesel variant has a 0-62 mph time of 5.6 seconds, while the petrol comes in at 4.3 seconds. Both engines have a top speed of about 155 mph and are mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox, with an available seven speed double clutch, while the diesel has the added option of a 6 speed automatic.

It will be interesting to see the final product from HB. Its retro design may not be for everyone but we find it to be a nice looking take on a classic.
