Chrysler Group today quietly unveiled a surprise concept at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show known as the 700C. The Chrysler 700C Concept hints at a future minivan model and will remain on display during the public days to gauge customer reaction.

As previously reported, Chrysler plans on offering just one van in the United States – dropping the Dodge Grand Caravan from it’s U.S. lineup is a very strong possibility since the Town & Country nameplate resonates well with shoppers on the stateside.

Chrysler says that the 700C is one of the several styling concepts it has created for a future minivan. More details to come at a later date.
