Dodge’s in-house tuning firm Mopar has just unveiled a new sporty kit for the Chrysler 200 in which they call the 200 Super S.
Consisting of tow stages, Mopar’s packages consist of mainly aesthetic treatments. For instance, Stage One consists of a more aggressive front spoiler and fascia, satin chrome trim for all the chrome pieces found on the normal 200, and mesh upper and lower grills. Also found in Stage 1 are unique 18-inch “S” alloys in a choice of either gray or hyper black, a more aggressive rear lower diffuser and exhaust tips, and a unique trunk lid spoiler.
Bump up the package to Stage Two and Mopar gives you everything in Stage One plus some actual performance upgrades like a coil-over suspension, a cold-air intake and a performance cat-back exhaust system.
The Mopar S packages will be available to make your Chrysler 200 more interesting closer towards the end of 2012. Pricing should be announced closer to that time.
