This is the moment many sports sedan fans waited for: the new 2013 Audi RS5 is out: 450 bhp to four wheels, and 174 (limited) miles per hour thanks to a naturally aspirated 4.2 liter V8. Stability control can be switched off completely, 15 inch carbon ceramic brakes can be fitted as can 20 inch rims.
If your idea of involvement involves a manual transmission, you will be just a tad sad, but if lap times are what you are interested in, then you probably will be happy with the seven speed dual clutch automated manual.
It started (though I am sure I will be corrected) with the Porsche Boxster’s pop-up spoiler, and continues today in the 2013 Audi RS5: at 75 mph, the decklid spoiler extends and retracts at 50 mph. If you find yourself behind a debadged Audi, twin oval exhausts denote the RS5 along with a specific rear diffuser.
