Sareni United’s Chevrolet Camaro GT cranks out 650-hp

At the LA Auto Show, we saw the 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang (on paper) rip the face off the convertible Camaro ZL1 offered by Chevy, but like the past GT500, many tuning companies know better than to seriously stuff the engine bay with power and leave the car untouched. T

hat is why Sareni United, a company which typically builds racing Lamborghinis has produced a track ready, FIA-homologated Camaro packing a 7.9 liter 650 bhp to race in the ADAC GT series.

It does not end there, the $253,000 Camaro GT3 includes a maintenance program involving overhauls at 5,000 km and 10,000 km. The car is not entirely finished, but reportedly, track times are similar to that of the Lamborghini Gallardo.
