Read more news on the Chevrolet Volt.

Obviously both products are fairly new to the U.S. market – the Fiat 500 being the only car that the brand came back to the U.S. with and the Chevrolet Volt being the first plug-in hybrid sedan on the road.

    How are they failures?

Well, my intuition was right, they were hypes and aren’t appealing to people who like cars. So America being America, these cars really reach their intended effect. This is good news to me.

My wife and I love our Volt, and it has taken us from a Honda (Accord) into an American car company that we otherwise would not have considered.  Now we have experienced a GM product and most excelent after sales support for this new vehicle, we are both very impressed with GM, and are looking forward to many more Voltec powered vehicles in our futrue.  For example, I will be frist in line to buy the Cadilac ELR coupe when its available.  We would not trade our volt for anything else. It’s simply amazing.
