BMW i launches Apple iAd in Europe on foursquare and

BMW i3 i8 Apple iAdBMW is exploring new advertising avenues via BMW i, the automaker’s e-mobility brand, to hit iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users by the millions through apps.

A European ad campaign will be run for England, Germany and France using iAd featuring the i3 and i8 concepts, with 3D interactions of the cars.

The project has been live since April and provides updates on a weekly basis for BMW i topics. This campaign will run through 2012, and can be found at

Foursquare, a popular sociall newtoring app that reaches 15 million users worldwide will be using 30 cities as ‘check-in’ sites that will provide information on the locations through the BMW i brand. More information can be located at
