What you’re looking at here is called the Shouwang BHCD-1, the first concept from the sub-brand established by Beijing Hyundai Motor Company (BHMC), a joint venture between Hyundai and Beijing Automotive, its Chinese partner.

The Shouwang BHCD-1 Concept made its debut at the Guangzhou Motor Show in China last week and hints at what is to come from the new brand.

Hyundai and Beijing say that the Shouwang brand will mainly focus on environmentally friendly cars – the BHCD-1 is a hybrid powered concept, but the automakers have released no information on the powertrain.

BHMC has 3 plants in China, where the brand will exclusively sell its cars.
