BMW has reportedly made its all-new 6-Series Gran Coupe available for order at BMW dealerships. The 6-Series Gran Coupe is based on the Concept Gran Coupe that made its debut at the 201 Beijing Motor Show.

The 2012 model gets power from a 3.0-liter TwinPwer turbocharged engine, and has options and equipment level close to the of the latest 6 Series Coupe. Underpinnings are shared with the 5-Series, 7-Series, and 5 GT, as are the six-and eight-cylinder motor options, paired to an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

BMW lowered and lightened the model, and gave it a sporty look, as well. All of the driver assistance systems and telematics are being made available as options for order.
