Last month, General Motors launched a new web series for the upcoming Cadillac ATS sedan, a model that will compete with the likes of the BMW 3-Series, Audi A4 and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Following episode one, which showed the Caddy ATS visiting the Nurburgring, episode two continues at the famous German track and talks about how the team of engineers focused aggressively on details for the new model.

“In the second installment of our Web series, an elite team of drivers and engineers run the 2013 ATS through its paces,” GM said. “Their goal? Test and perfect a sports sedan created to challenge and even surpass the world’s best.”

The Cadillac ATS will go on sale late 2012 and will go into production next summer at GM’s Lansing Grand River plant, the same plant that builds the Cadillac CTS sedan, coupe and wagon.
