Ever come across a police officer abusing his authority and speeding through traffic and running red lights? Of course, we all have and it’s probably one of the things in life we really can’t do anything about… well, unless you’re a state trooper.

A story currently making headlines consists of a Florida highway patrol trooper D.J. Watts pulling over Miami Police Officer Fausto Lopez as he hits speeds of 120 mph while weaving in and out of traffic.

The chase comes to a dramatic end with Watts arresting Lopez. Lopez’s reason for speeding? He was apparently running late for an off-duty 7 a.m. job at school.

Miami police are currently investigating the case.
