Prepare for Launch: Hold on to your butts for the new 2012 Mini Coupe

MINI just launched an all new marketing campaign only Manhattan could handle to promote the latest MINI Coupe.

A giant rocket with the MINI Coupe attached to it has been placed at 14th St and 9th Ave through November 1st to highlight this being the fastest MINI yet, with the tag line “Hold On.” If the rocket wasn’t enough, four representatives in space suits will be handing out freeze-dried ice cream, buttons marked “Prepare for Launch”, and information on the vehicle.

MINI will also be featured in the 80,000 strong Village Halloween Parade that runs up 6th Ave from Spring St, with two Coupes, the space men, and extra MINI representatives passing out more of the promotional items. Apart from the rocket display, the parade by itself will reach 2 million people.
