As reported earlier, General Motors had planned some crazy things to market the all new Chevrolet Sonic. GM previously said that the ads will feature Chevy’s Sonic bungee jumping and skydiving – and that’s exactly what they did.

A new commercial has just been released via YouTube showing the new subcompact skydiving from an airplane.

You can check out the whole commercial after the jump.

I doubt it, as near as I could tell the car was stripped down to nothing.  It looked like the fuel door was missing and the exhaust was missing for sure, there was a very clear shot of that, the bottom cover for the engine was in place but since the car didnt nose dive right off I would say there is no way it had a drive train.  My biggest question was why? The ad makes no sense.  Also, after being involved in several heavy drops with the Army, I know why they didnt show the landing.
