At the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, Fisker unveiled the Surf shooting brake, which enter production in 2013. The firm is reportedly working on a crossover to join the Karma plug-in hybrid sedan and the new Surf shooting brake.
An insider has told AutoExpress that a “crossover SUV is definitely on the cards.”
The Fisker SUV will be based on a new platform that will debut on the upcoming smaller Fisker sedan (by small we me mean 5-Series size), codenamed Project Nina.
The Project Nina sedan will enter production in 2013 with a similar plug-in hybrid power train like the Karma. However, BMW will be providing the engine.
Either way, the Fisker SUV could arrive sometime in 2014 as 2015 model year – so you can keep waiting.
