An all new 310-hp mid-engined model has just been released by British automaker Ginetta.

The Ginetta G60 is a light weight sports car with a carbon fiber body based on the Fabrio GTS. In order to keep weight down, Ginetta used other measures as well and cut out ABS, electronic stability control, and steering assistance, resulting in a 2,425 lb model.

Powered by the Ford Mustang engine, the motor is a 3.7-liter naturally aspirated V6. The six-speed manual gearbox shifts power to the rear wheels, with both front and rear supported by wishbones.

The car’s light body and decent power provide a 0-60 mph time of just under 4 seconds, and a top speed just over 165 mph.

Sounds like a lot of fun.

I love this car, with the exception of the clumsy side openings. And whats with the ugly second color under the door?
Look at how nice this car could be…
