2012 Chevrolet Sonic gets EPA-estimated fuel-economy of 40 mpg highway

General Motors announced today that the 2012 Chevrolet Sonic with a Ecotec 1.4 liter turbo gets an EPA-estimated 40 mpg on the highway and 29 mpg in the city.
