Man who crashed his Dodge Caravan through dealership to protest arraigned

2000 Dodge Grand Caravan

David Cross, a Massachusetts man who crashed his minivan into a bunch of vehicles at a dealerships to protest the problems he was having with his car, was arraigned earlier this week and told reporters that he knew what he did was wrong.

Cross entered no plea on six felony counts of criminal mischief and one misdemeanor of driving after a revoked or suspended license.

The 42 year-old man was apparently unhappy with the service he received from a local dealer and decided to drive his 2000 Dodge Caravan through the dealership after the dealerships refused to return his money. Cross said he was careful in choosing the vehicles that he struck – a Mercedes-Benz, Ford Mustang and others – “I didn’t hit a car under $20,000,” he said. “I know what I did was wrong … but then again what he (the dealer) did was wrong, too.”
