After being built for a long 3 decades, FoMoCo ended production of the Crown Victoria this year at the company’s St. Thomas Assembly Plant in Talbotville, Ontario. The last Crown Victoria rolled off the assembly line Thursday.
The 44-year-old plant has produced over 8 million vehicles.
The Toronto Sun reported that current workers and even retirees filled the plant on the last day – “just to see some history and say goodbye.”
“I felt funny yesterday when I left work, but I just went home and when I came back today I thought ‘Oh my God, this is really the end’,” said Denise Knutson, who worked in the paint shop for 11 years.
Goodbye Crown Vic’.
