The new 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Clas that was shown at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show will come to the United States in 2013. However, while crossing over the Atlantic Ocean, the B-Class we see in these pictures will undergo some design changes.

Mercedes-Benz says that when the B-Class arrives on our shores in 2013, it will be a four-door with a coupe-like roofline and styling inspired by the CLS. That car will debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show.

That will be followed by a small SUV a year later. A version of the A-Class is due after that. In the United States, the 1.6-liter powerplant could be adopted across the B-Class and A-Class lineup.

The emphasize on all these compact models will be to attract younger buyers.
