Unofficial: Dodge Viper ACR laps Nurburgring in 7:12
Most recently, Lexus made headlines in the automotive industry after the company’s LFA Nurburgring Package lapped the Nurburgring Nordschleife in 7:14.64. Well, the Dodge Viper is back and has apparently reclaimed its lap speed record for a production car at the Nurburgring… unofficially.
According to preliminary results from the Viper Club of America, the Dodge Viper ACR lapped the Nordschleife in just 7:12 seconds. That also tops the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1’s recent time of 7:19.63.
We expects something official from Dodge very soon.
