2011 Frankfurt: 2011 Aston Martin DBS Carbon Edition gets two new colors

At the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, Aston Martin will show not one but to Carbon Edition DBS sports cars. The models follow the success of the DBS Carbon Black, introduced in 2009.

The 2011 Aston Martin DBS Carbon Edition will be available in two new colors including Flame Orange and Ceramic Grey together with the current Carbon Black. Each unit will go through a unique paint process and will receive seven layers of paint together with a 25 hour hand flat-and-polish finish resulting in a glass veneer. Buyers will also have the option of a satin lacquer paint finish, creating a silk-like texture.

The 2011 Aston Martin DBS Carbon Edition will come with 10-spoke gloss black diamond wheels with a reversed diamond turned or full gloss black finish as an option and black brake calipers (optional colors include yellow, orange, red or gray). The DBS Carbon Edition also features a black grille, carbon fiber mirror heads, carbon rear lamp in-fills and smoked rear lights creating a DBS specification like never before.

On the inside, the Aston Martin DBS Carbon Edition offers two nice color finishes including. The interior of a DBS Carbon Edition will take more than 70 man hours to hand stitch and finish.

Prices for the 2011 Aston martin DBS Carbon Edition start at $287,576 for the coupe and $302,576 for the Volante. Deliveries start early 2012.
