Students design Ferrari EGO Concept, a compact lightweight supercar

Here at egmCarTech, we tend to have a special place in our heart for privately designed concepts by design students. The latest design concept we’ve come across is known as the Ferrari EGO, which stands for Emotional Generation One. The study focuses around a lightweight, compact supercar for 2025.

The Ferrari EGO is deigned by Istituto d’Arte Applicata e Design Torino graduates Salvatore Simonetti, Massimiliano Petrachi and Vincenzo Morlino and Politecnico di Milano graduate Luca Zunino.

The team says that the Ferrari EGO focuses on performance with a “strong emotional content.”

In the Ferrari EGO Concept, you’ll see design elements including a cockpit inspired by a fighter plane, exposed carbon fiber, an aluminium tubular chassis and of course, LED taillights.
