Rotary Supercars Germany Predator GT to make 2,800-hp, 0 to 62 mph in .9 seconds

RSC Predator GT

Rotary Supercars Germany is a new start up automotive brand that, like many other start ups, is setting out to craft “a symbiosis of the ultimate hypercar and active environmental care.”, as per its website, along with the specs that follow.

The brand has plans for a supercar its calling the RSC Predator GT, which has been in the works since 2009. Expect to see a prototype in 2012, and a production model by the year’s end.

Two models are being shown, a 1,200hp “4-rotor Rotary engine”, and another with an “8-rotary Rotary Engine”, at 5.2-liters and boasting a major 2,800-hp with 2,580 lb-ft of torque. If those claims were not bold enough for you, the new brand is also claiming that the car’s 0-62 time will clock in at 0.9 seconds.

Big on claims, small on credibility. We will most likely see more at the Top Marques show in Monaco this coming spring.
