Have any of you ever wondered what it’s like to travel at 426 mph on the ground? Well if you have, now you can catch a glimpse of what it’s like.

A man by the name of George Poteet got himself some seat time in a Bonneville Blown Fuel Streamliner, aka the Speed Demon at the Bonneville Salt Flats. Using a set of special RePlay XD cameras, Poteet recorded himself taking the Speed Demon to 426 mph in one mile.

The Speed Demon uses a 347 cu in V8 with a pair of Turbonetics “Demon” turbochargers to get up to that speed. The ending result is over 2,200 horsepower, more than twice of that of the Bugatti Veyron.
